Hello GolfSwingFreaks,
We have been pretty busy at GolfSwingFreak.com, setting World Records,
Going to the PGA 2012 Merchandise Show, and trying to improve our swings. We are also looking forward to some new features and programs in 2012. Here is a summary:
World Record Set:
I just received the official certificate in the mail. It was very rewarding to accomplish the world record. But like anything, you have to enjoy the process, no matter how physically painful.
Here is the acceptance verbiage:
Congratulations! Your record has been approved and a certificate has been sent to the address provided in your profile.
The current record for “Most golf balls driven into a target area from the knees in 12 hours” is:
The most golf balls driven into a target area from the knees in 12 hours is 2,575, achieved by Brian Lovegren (USA) in Buckeye, Arizona, USA, on 20 December 2011.
We attended the PGA 2012 Merchandise Show:
It was an amazing experience with over 40,000 industry professionals and
over 1000 exhibitors and many golf celebrities. We launched our online teaching section where instructors are able to setup their own page and give online instruction. All instruction is open and social so students can select an instructor based on their prior lessons and instructional videos.
New partnership opportunities at GolfSwingFreak.com:
We are in the process of putting together a partnerships program where companies can advertise on our banner ads that lead to a unique video storytelling checkout. Brands are able to tell their stories on videos and direct traffic to their sites or sell coupons on our site that will be popular “freakish deals” on the site.
WM Phoenix Open is starting tomorrow. I will be out there on Thursday and
Saturday, and may make an appearance with Jon Bloom who will be
broadcasting live from the Greenskeeper!
February 10th and 11th is Golfest at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa!
See you at the events coming up!
Sincerely,
Brian
